Life & Language Skills

for Migrant Women

LiLI supports migrant women in building language confidence, everyday life skills and active participation in their host communities through flexible, inclusive and accessible digital learning.

Learning for everyday life, participation and belonging

LiLI (Life and Language Skills + Intersectionality for Migrant Women Integration) is a European project that develops practical learning opportunities for migrant women and useful tools for the professionals who support them.

The project combines language learning with real-life skills, digital microlearning and an intersectional approach. This means that learning is not treated as one-size-fits-all, but as something that should respond to different life situations, barriers, strengths and needs.

Language for real life

LiLI supports language learning through practical everyday topics, helping learners use language in situations that matter for daily life, work, services and participation.

Life skills for independence

The project connects language learning with life skills such as communication, confidence, problem-solving, participation and employability.

Intersectional support

LiLI also works with educators, trainers, social operators and policymakers to raise awareness of the different and overlapping barriers migrant women may face.
